SOLD Bronze Age Organic Ceramic Bowl

A quite large bronze age bowl. Most likely middle eastern circa 3rd millenuium bc. A thin-walled bowl of hemispheric form with flattened base and delicatly turned out rim, a band of numerous vertical incised hatch marks around the neck. To find such very early largepottery in an intact condition is rare. Apart from its rareness it's also a beautifully made bowl with great proportions, a organic feel and verry attractive patina wich gives it a timeless feel. 15 cm diam x 15 cm high, Ref. 950
