We have dismanteled an French sandstone mansion which has its earliest roots in the 16th century as a fortification. Placed on a hillside and inbedded in the countryside it served as a protection for the nearby village of Pontoy. The last owner didn't manage to raise the funds for restoring it and the house was abondened 15 years ago. Weather and lack of maintenance caused the building to deteriorate beyond rescue. We were able to salvage an amazing sandstone flooring, some of the beams and an very impressive staircase which was placed in the centre of the building.
All of these materials are sold and will be integrated in an countryhouse.
