SOLD trestle mountain table

SOLD Great 17th century trestle table from the Pyrinee region. Also called Mountain or Montagnard table this piece is preserved in its weather greyed patina as found. The top is maid from 3 chestnut boards fixed to the trestle supports with hand forged nails. It has some 19th century insets in chestnut which blend beautifully with the oldest parts. It has ideal dimensions and is very stabile.
