SOLD Abraham Bloemaert pair of etchings

SOLD A pair of etchings by Abraham Bloemaert (1564-1651). They depict a study of hands in various postures. Prints like this were often used by other artists as study models as well as enhancing the reputation of the artist. Bloemaert was and is a well known Dutch Baroque painter who specialised in allegorical and historical scenes. These works are framed in 19th century solid walnut mouldings.
