Primitive monoxyle wooden mortar sidetable

A indonesian 'Lesung' or mortar from the early 20th century. Made from a solid monoxyle block of hardwood. These mortars were traditionally used to process ricegrains. A verry attractive geometric form with just the righ proportions for a low sidetable. 40 x 70 x 35 h, Ref. 950
